Taz Sherman Named to Charleston Classic All-Tournament Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – It was announced on Sunday night by the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic that WVU’s Taz Sherman was one of the players named to the All-Tournament Team.

Charleston Classic All-Tournament Team:

Emmanuel Akot – Boise State
Jaren Holmes – St. Bonaventure
Justin Lewis – Marquette
Kyle Lofton – St. Bonaventure
Taz Sherman – West Virginia

Kyle Lofton of St. Bonaventure was named the tournament MVP.

In the three games in South Carolina this week, Sherman averaged 20.0 points, while also assisting the ball 4.0 times and a steal per game. Sherman dropped a career-high 27 points against Elon in the first round of the tournament.
