West Virginia will face the Tennessee Volunteers on Dec. 31 in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, the bowl announced Sunday evening.

The Volunteers finished their season last weekend with a 34-13 loss to Texas A&M, finishing 3-7 in the SEC. WVU and Tennessee have only played each other one time before, a 40-14 Mountaineer victory in 2018.

The 62nd Liberty Bowl will be played on Dec. 31 in Memphis, Tennessee.
