The Mountaineers have recently offered class of 2020 linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green (6’3″ 230 lbs) of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Hill-Green transferred into the program after previously playing at North Catholic high school in Pittsburgh.

“It feels like a dream. I never would of thought a school I grew up admiring would be interested in me.” Hill-Green said on his reaction to being offered by WVU assistant Xavier Dye. When asked what intrigued him about West Virginia he responded, “Their jerseys, style of play and players from western Pennsylvania who succeeded there always fascinated me.” he said.

He and coach Dye are in the beginning stages of forming their relationship, “He seems genuine and regardless of my decision he wants the best for me.” There is no visit date set as of now, but the two sides are working it out to get Hill-Green on campus.

The talented linebacker has several offers including offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Purdue, Wisconsin, Duke, Syracuse and many others.
