Transfer LHP Commits to WVU Baseball After Injury Plagued Season

The WVU baseball staff hits another recruiting home run with the commitment of UMass transfer pitcher Andrew Middleton, as announced by the player on Wednesday.
The left hander comes to West Virginia after pitching 35.0 innings over the last two years. In 2025, This he allowed just one hit and no runs in 11.2 innings.

Middleton also recorded 29 strikeouts to only 11 walks as well during this past season when on the mound.
Middleton didn’t pitch after March 15 due to injury.
As a freshman in 2023, he posted a 4.63 ERA in 23.1 innings pitched.
