Watch: Mazey Talks About the Evolution of WVU’s Program, Gives Season Preview

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – Baseball head coach Randy Mazey spoke to the media Thursday afternoon for the first time in 2020 to talk about the upcoming baseball season. After losing eight players to the MLB draft after last season, Mazey said this year is an important one in establishing West Virginia’s growth as a program. On being picked to finish seventh in the Big 12 preseason poll, Mazey said he wished they had been picked ninth because it is easier to play as the underdog.
