4-Star WR Justin Brown Puts WVU in Top 5

Four-Star 2024 wide receiver Justin Brown (6-foot-2, 185-pounds) has put West Virginia in his top five of final choices. Brown put his top five on Twitter and West Virginia is included alongside Mississippi, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Purdue.

Justin Brown is a four-star recruit on On3, but a three-star recruit on both Rivals and 247Sports. He’s the No. 53 rated wide receiver on 247Sports, No. 50 on Rivals and No. 38 on On3 for the class of 2024.

Interestingly enough, the two schools that On3 predicted Brown to decide between, Ole Miss and Tennessee, don’t find themselves in the top five of Brown’s choices. Ole Miss also has a warm rating on 247Sports instead of Mississippi State, which is the only one of Brown’s top five choices to not have a warm rating.

Brown comes from Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. On3 has him as the No. 4 rated recruit in the state of Tennessee while Rivals has him at No. 11 and 247Sports has him at No. 13. He’s not in Rivals national rankings, but he’s No. 435 for 247Sports and No. 286 for On3.

Brown has already taken an official visit to Purdue this past weekend. He is scheduled to take an official visit to Pitt on June 24. He has not scheduled an official visit with any other school, as of this writing.
