Other teams in pod: Alabama (1), play-in (16).

West Virginia will appear in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021. The Mountaineers earned a 3-seed in that edition, playing all of their games in Indianapolis during the COVID bubble. West Virginia defeated Morehead State in the first round, getting Bob Huggins to win No. 900. In the round of 32, the Mountaineers fell to Syracuse.

Time and broadcast for the games will be determined later.
