On Oct. 29, the West Virginia men’s basketball team will welcome the Akron Zips to the WVU Coliseum in a charity exhibition game.

The proceeds will go towards the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Research Endowment Fund.

WVU head coach Bob Huggins will use 1-of-2 exhibition opportunities to welcome back his former team that he coached from 1984-89.

The Mountaineers and Zips will play a 40-minute regulation game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29.

Tickets for the West Virginia and Akron game are included in the season ticket package and the individual tickets will be announced at a later date by the athletic department.
