2024 5-star F Airious “Ace” Bailey tells WV Sports Now that West Virginia associate head coach Larry Harrison will visit him at McEachern High School in Georgia this week. Bailey’s mother, Ramika McGee, played basketball at WVU from 2004-05.

This week marks the first time that basketball coaches are back on the recruiting trial, visiting players at their homes or at school.

Bailey (6-foot-10, 185 pounds) is entering his junior season at McEachern High School. Bailey is ranked No. 11 in the country for the class of 2024. The Georgia native has offers from Auburn, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Jacksonville, Missouri, Murray State, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Tennessee and others. Many other high major schools like Arkansas, Duke, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina have shown interest in the forward. Bailey took a visit to Rutgers over the weekend.

West Virginia assistant Josh Eilert plans on visiting 2025 G EJ Walker this week. WVU head coach Bob Huggins may make the trip for the prospect from Kentucky.
