Top 2025 G EJ Walker tells WV Sports Now that West Virginia assistant Josh Eilert will visit him at Lloyd Memorial High School in Kentucky next week. Walker also mentions that head coach Bob Huggins may also be making the trip.

The staff is coming to watch Walker and his team workout during one of their practices. This comes on the same week that Walker will head up to West Virginia for his unofficial visit on Sept. 17.

“I am looking forward to checking out campus, meeting the staff and players, but I’m really excited to get a chance to talk with coach Huggins! He’s a legend,” Walker told WV Sports Now.

Walker (6-foot-8, 220 pounds) has picked up offers from Duquesne, Northern Kentucky, Ohio, Stony Brook, Toledo and Youngstown State. Walker’s recruitment has picked up rapidly over the past couple of months as the rising sophomore is gaining attention from high major programs. Walker has visited Cincinnati, Miami (OH), Purdue and Xavier and is set to visit Ohio State on Saturday.
