The NFL offseason is in full swing and a former West Virginia Mountaineer is one of the top players on the open market. Rasul Douglas, who has been with the Bills since being traded there in 2023, is a free agent and at least one national outlet has him ranked among the best available players.

PFF has Douglas listed as their No. 15 free agent and seventh in terms of just defensive players.

Below is what PFF had to say about Douglas’ current value to the NFL teams.

“Douglas faced some challenges in 2024, but his knack for making plays on the ball ensures he’ll attract significant interest in 2025. Heading into the 2024 campaign, he had recorded at least seven pass breakups in six of his seven years in the NFL and notched four or more interceptions in each of the past three seasons.”

Douglas recorded 58 total tackles with 43 registered as solo, a forced fumble and five pass deflections.

While Douglas, 30, has shown some signs of decline, he still has a knack for making big plays. He recovered an onside kick that sealed Buffalo’s divisional playoff win over the Ravens.

The NFL veteran has also spent time with the Eagles and Packers throughout his eight-year career, winning Super Bowl LII as a rookie with Philadelphia.

Douglas has 410 total tackles and 19 picks since being drafted by the Eagles in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Douglas capped off his college career by playing his final two seasons at WVU from 2015-16, earning first team All-Big 12 honors as a senior.
