Will Grier and David Sills Make CBS Top 25 Players

CBS sports released their top 25 college football players that are returning for the 2018 season today, and the Mountaineers have two players within the rankings.

David Sills is ranked 22^nd on the list, after being a Biletnikoff finalist last year.  Sills finished the 2017 season with 60 receptions for 980 yards and 18 touchdowns.  He is one of two receivers on the list, he is currently behind AJ Brown of Ole Miss (13^th).

There are six quarterbacks that made this list and it is no surprise that Will Grier is one of them.  Grier sits at number six on the list, behind Trace McSorley of Penn State (4^th).

Grier got a little bit of Heisman love in the middle of the season last year and was also a semifinalist for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback award.  He finished the season with 3,490 yards, completing 64.4% of his passes, and 34 touchdowns.

West Virginia is one of two teams that have two players in the top 25.  The Washington Huskies quarterback Jake Browning (21^st) and cornerback Byron Murphey (18^th).

There are four players from the Big XII that were ranked including Sills and Grier.  Texas Tech linebacker Dakota Allen (14^th) and Kansas State offensive lineman Dalton Risner.
