The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia University Athletics.

**Update (2:08 p.m.) –

The West Virginia rifling team has announced their schedule for the 2022-23 season. The season kicks off on October 1 against Memphis.

Some other highlights include the WVU Fall Classic on November 5. That tournament will feature West Virginia, Kentucky, TCU and Alaska-Fairbanks.

The NCAA qualifiers will be on February 18th in Lexington, Virginia with the GARC Championships a week later in Morgantown on February 25th. The NCAA Championships will be from March 10-11 in Akron.

**Update (9:00 a.m.) –

West Virginia offered three-star 2024 wide receiver Jabari Murphy (6-foot-2, 195-pounds) from Elmore County High School in Eclectic, Alabama. West Virginia is Murphy’s sixth offer alongside Arkansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Ole Miss and Penn State.
