During TBT’s Championship Week, Best Virginia head coach James Long participated in the 3-point contest. The rules are unique as it’s a 1v1 style tournament where the first player to hit 11-three’s moves on. Each shooter gets a rebounder. Long’s rebounder was Jevon Carter.
In the Charleston regional, Long was able to reach the final before being eliminated. Long participated in Dayton’s for $33,333 on Thursday night. Long was defeated in the first round by Sweet Home Alabama’s Trevor John. Long’s 11th three was just too late from John’s.
