The WVU coaching staff continues to give scholarship offers, schedule visits and visit commits ahead of the Dec. 18 signing day.

**WVU commit Chris Mayo has been named the Prep Lineman of the Year by the Delaware Valley Chapter of the 12th Man TD Club. Mayo is a 2020 offensive line commit from the Peddi School in Richland, New Jersey who committed to West Virginia back in June.

**2020 defensive end Simeon Barrow Jr. will be making a visit to West Virginia today. Barrow is a three-star prospect from Grovetown, Georgia currently committed to Michigan State.

**WVU offered 2021 defensive end Saivion Jones Thursday. Jones is from Saint James, Louisiana and has power five offers from Virginia, Kansas and Florida.

**WVU 2020 cornerback commit Jackie Matthews made a big play in the junior college national championship last night. Matthews’ Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College claimed victory over Lackawanna 24-13. Matthews made the game-sealing interception in the endzone at the end of the game.
