WVU Basketball Offers 2027 4-Star Center Mahamadou Diop

WVU basketball has extended an offer to 6-foot-10 center from the other side of the country. Mahamadou Diop, a 2027 four-star prospect from San Gabriel Academy in San Gabriel, California, revealed his West Virginia offer on social media June 14.

Diop has also received offers from Cal, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas Tech, UCLA, USC, Virginia Tech, Washington State, UNLV, Pacific and UC Riverside.

WVU is coming off an offseason where it landed a top recruit in five-star point guard Miles Sadler, as well as his teammates Aliou Dioum and Amadou Seini. ESPN ranked WVU No. 14 in the final ESPN menโ€™s basketball recruiting class rankings, listed by Jeff Borzello and Paul Biancardi.

    APPARENTLY ROSS PLANS TO PLAY 4 GUARDS AND ONE CENTER,,, WONDER HOW THAT WILL STACK UP AGAINST THE BIG 12
