The excitement level of one West Virginia fan about the arrival of top rated commit Rodney Gallagher is clear.
Gallagher’s sister Alyssa posted a video on Twitter of a little boy walking over to the Laurel Highlands High School football star wearing a WVU jersey. And the jersey wasn’t of just any Mountaineer, but a future one. The boy was wearing a custom number 2 Gallagher WVU jersey.
This definitely made our day! Went to the elementary schools today for Homecoming Game Day and this little boy walked out with this on!! 🔥😳 pic.twitter.com/azQqws1sMX

Alyssa could be heard expressing her surprise and love of the boy’s jersey as Rodney signed it for him.
Gallagher is widely considered the top senior in Western Pennsylvania. He’s also the top ranked recruit of the Neal Brown era and the sixth-highest rated recruit in WVU history, according to 247Sports’ recruiting services.
