MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — About 75 minutes before West Virginia and Morehead State tip-off, WVU F Patrick Suemnick was warming up before the game. Suemnick has missed the first two games of the season due to a preseason knee injury.

If Suemnick is ready to go, he’ll make his debut with West Virginia on Tuesday night.

Suemnick (6-foot-8, 230 pounds) is entering his sophomore season, spending one year at Robert Morris and one year at Triton College (JUCO). Last season at Triton, Suemnick averaged 12.0 points on 55 percent shooting from the field. The Green Bay native also pulled down 6.1 rebounds per game. Suemnick’s team made it to the NJCAA Final Four in March.

WV Sports Now will keep you up-to-date with Suemnick’s recovery and debut with the Mountaineers.
