WVU Football Busy on Thursday Extending Many Offers

As they prepared for a big matchup on Saturday vs. No. 22 Iowa State, Neal Brown and his coaches were also busy looking to the future as WVU extended a number of offers, including a couple to a players in the Class of 2022.

The Mountaineers Class of 2022 has 18 commitments and is currently ranked No. 23 by Rivals.com, which would be the best ranking for Brown since taking over for Dana Holgorsen.

Here’s the offers that were extended on Thursday, including the two to high school seniors.

Moussa Kane:  2023 3-Star Athlete from Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey. Holds offers from Boston College, Clemson, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue and Rutgers.

Wade Woodaz: 2022 3-Star Safety from Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida. Holds 25+ offers, including Power Five offers from Louisville, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, TCU, Vanderbilt and Washington State.

De’Carlo Donaldson, Jr.: 2022 3-star Tight End from Gulliver Prep High School in Miami, Florida. Donaldson is currently committed to Tulane. Also, holds offers from Florida, Florida State, Indiana, Miami, Ole Miss, South Florida and Appalachian State.

Lawson Luckie: 2023 4-star Tight End from Norcross High School in Norcross, Georgia. Luckie is ranked by 247 Sports as one of the Top 160 juniors in the country. Holds offers from Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Maryland, Michigan State, NC State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Pitt, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Utah, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.

Matthew Klopfenstein: 2023 3-star Tight End from Horizon High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Holds offers from Arizona, Iowa State, Kansas, Michigan State, Oregon State and San Diego St.

Jaden Greathouse: 2023 4-star Wide Receiver from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. Greathouse is ranked as one of the Top 100 juniors in the country with offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Oklahoma, Penn State and Texas.

Trevor Lauck: 2023 3-star Offensive Tackle from Roncalli High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Holds offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, Purdue, Rutgers, Toledo and Akron.
