WVU Football Claims Clean Sweep as GameDay Crew Predicts OSU Win
Earning a clean sweep across the board, the entire College GameDay crew is confident WVU will beat Oklahoma State tonight.
West Virginia can usually count on Pat McAfee’s pick, but was also projected to win by state native Nick Saban, who publicly professed his confidence in the Mountaineers on Friday, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and the guest picker Johnny Knoxville.
Coming off the extreme high of upsetting Virginia in the Duke’s Mayo Classic,WVU football will open up Big 12 play as a slight favorite against Oklahoma State.
A game many penciled in as a likely loss for West Virginia when projecting the season has now become one oddsmakers view as a close win for the Mountaineers at home. DraftKings and FanDuel both have WVU opening the week as a -1.5 favorite.

IF WVU CAN’T BEAT OK STATE, AT HOME, WE ARE IN BIG BIG TROUBLE FOR A WINNING SEASON,, AND A BOWL,, JUST LOOK AT OUR LAST FOUR GAMES,, AND THEN THROW IN TCU, AND THERE IS FOUR TO FIVE LOSSES WITHOUT A DOUBT..WVU FOOTBALL STILL HAS A LONG WAYS TO GO,, FIGUREING THAT WVU WILL LOSE HAWKINS AFTER THIS SEASON TO A BIG MONEY TEAM,,WVU JUST DOES NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND BIG TIME ON ONE PLAYER,,AND NOR WOULD HE STAY IF ALL OUR MONEY WAS SPENT ON HIM,, MY GUESS IS IF HAWKINS DOESN’T GET HURT THIS YR, AND CONTINUES TO IMPROVE, HE’LL GET A 5 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT EASILY,,FOR NEXT YR SOMEPLACE ELSE,, THERE ARE AT LEAST 4 TEAMS IN THE BIG12 WITH THAT KIND OF MONEY
