WVU Football Lands Athletic 2026 Florida WR Robert Stith
Rich Rodriguez and the WVU football staff gained a commitment from a 2026 wide receiver in Florida prospect Robert Stith.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Niceville, Fla. native announced his decision with a long post on social media on Sunday after wrapping up his official visit.
“AGTG for this amazing journey and incredible opportunity! I am excited to announce that I am officially COMMITTED to the University of West Virginia! A huge I love you and thank you to my parents, coaches, and teammates for believing in me. A special shoutout to coaches Mill, Brigman, Will, Dixon, and Eli for pouring all of your knowledge and time into me, helping me to get to where I am today…none of this would have been possible without you all…you are my village. Finally, I want to thank ALL of the universities and coaches who offered me an opportunity to further my education and football career at their respective institutions…to each and every one of you…thank you,” said Stith on social media.
Stith picked West Virginia over offers from a mix of bag of schools like Kansas State, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, East Carolina, Florida International University, FAU, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Jacksonville State, Liberty, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Toledo, Troy, Tulane, UAB, UConn, UNLV and USF.
Stith, who was offered by WVU wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett in February, caught 45 balls for 870 yards and scored 10 touchdowns during the 2024 season.
