WVU Football, Neal Brown Both Reach 3 Straight Wins Since 2018
With WVU Football defeating Texas Tech 20-13 on Saturday, West Virginia and Neal Brown both reached three-straight wins for the first time since 2018.
The last time the Mountaineers won three in-a-row was with former HC Dana Holgorsen during Will Grier’s senior year. West Virginia defeated Baylor, No. 15 Texas and TCU. Brown’s last time winning three games straight was with Troy during the same period of the season.
Brown has started 3-1 with WVU in 2019 and 2020 but never rallied three games in-a-row. Saturday’s win also marked the first time Brown beat Texas Tech while at West Virginia.
