The WVU football staff is looking to continue their hot streak by adding another former Kentucky commit to their 2026 class.

Hours after gaining a commitment from one recruit previously headed to Kentucky, they sent an offer to another late Monday night.

Georgia native Prince Jean revealed his West Virginia offer following Kentucky’s decision to fire Mark Stoops. Jean initially committed to Kentucky in June.

A product of Valdosta High School, the 6-foot-1 and 180-pound Jean is considered a three-star prospect and ranked as one of the top 120 players in the recruiting hotbed of Georgia and among the top 150 receivers in the country.

Jean is a two-time First Team All-Region player who had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Houston, Indiana, Miami (FL), Nebraska and many others throughout the Power Four and Group of 5 levels.
