Expressing an “all in” attitude and excitement Rich Rodriguez loves to see, WVU football commit Lee Prince Jr. confirmed his commitment following his official visit.

“It’s official! West Virginia, the Young Lion is coming home and ready to roar! The work is done, now it’s time to hunt,” said Prince on Wednesday.

The explosive Florida running back committed to the West Virginia in early April.

“After thoughtful discussions with my family, I’m blessed to announce that I have officially committed to West Virginia University! I want to sincerely thank head Coach Rich Rodriguez, Travis Trickett, Jay Boulware, and Noel Devine and the team for the genuine hospitality and for believing in me. Your support and vision made this decision clear. From Carol City to the mountains… I’m ready to WORK, ready to stand on business, and ready to represent at the highest level. Mountaineer Nation… the lion is on the way! Let’s get it!!,” Prince posted on Instagram.

Prince, listed at 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, will move from Hollywood, Fla. to Morgantown, W.Va. to play in Rodriguez’s offense. He’s a product of Miami Carol City High School as a member of the 2027 class.
