The WVU football staff has reignited West Virginia’s interest in a versatile wide receiver recruit. After initially receiving an offer from the previous WVU staff in October, Matthew Gregory has now earned an opportunity from Rich Rodriguez.

Gregory, who plays both wide out and defense back at Owen J Roberts High School in Pottstown, Pa., revealed his latest offer on July 17.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, Gregory is rated as a four-star 2027 prospect by multiple national recruiting services.

Gregory is also ranked as a top five player in Pennsylvania and top 100 nationally for his class.

He holds offers from Power Four programs across every major conference. Boston College, Florida State, Maryland, Missouri, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers and Syracuse highlight his current offer list.
