WVU Football Recruiting
WVU Football Shows Interest in Athletic 2027 Kentucky WR
In an effort to sock pile talent, the WVU football staff sent an offer to an athletic wide receiver from Kentucky on Thursday.
Ja’Hyde Brown, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound wide out from Louisville, Ky., revealed his West Virginia offer on social media. As has been the case with most recent wide receiver prospects, WVU inside receivers coach Logan Bradley is leading the recruiting of Brown.

A 2027 product of Christian Academy, Brown has offers on the table from major brands like Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin. He also has notable Power Four offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Pitt and Vanderbilt.
Brown actually just wrapped up a visit to Indiana before hearing from the Mountaineers.
It’s only a matter of time until Brown earns a star rating from a national recruiting service.
