WVU Four-Star QB Commit Nicco Marchiol Continues Record-Breaking Season

Published

on

In your weekly Nicco Marchiol update, the Hamiton High School quarterback is still very, very good at football.

Marchiol threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns on 18 of 22 passing attempts in a nearly flawless performance, guiding Hamilton High School to a 58-17 win over Highley High School Friday night.

Hamilton improved to 9-0 with the victory, setting up a clash of unbeaten rivals this Friday between Hamilton and cross-town rival Chandler High School — a battle between the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the state of Arizona.

Through nine games this season, Marchiol has thrown for 2,186 yards and 32 touchdowns on 157-of-211 passing attempts. He’s completed 74.4 percent of his attempts at 13.9 yards per attempt and just one interception. He’s also used his legs to the tune of 239 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Marchiol’s 32 touchdown passes this season continue to extend a Hamilton football record for touchdown passes in a season.

Marchiol and Hamilton will face off against Chandler Friday at 10 p.m. EST at home.
