Harper Woods High School’s season may have come to an end sooner than anyone would’ve liked, but 2022 three-star West Virginia commit Christion Stokes made the most of his last ride in high school football.

The electric athlete made his impact felt across the Harper Woods roster, playing as a running back and wide receiver on offense and as a cornerback and safety on defense. He flashed a dynamic playmaking ability with the ball in his hands on offense, a threat to score on every snap, and the speed to drop in coverage and strength to lower his shoulder in making tackles.

Through eight games as a senior, he’d racked up 1,486 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns, and two more receiving scores, and he’d accumulated 48 tackles and four sacks.

While his time at Harper Woods is over, WVU fans can look forward to Stokes potentially making an instant impact at the collegiate level — likely as a defensive back in the Mountaineer secondary
