Mountaineers in the Pros
WVU LB Lee Kpogba Officially Declares for NFL Draft
Another Mountaineer is pursuing the NFL. Linebacker Lee Kpogba announced he’s declaring for the NFL Draft in an Instagram post on Wednesday night.
“Thank you to Coach Brown for taking a chance on me, Coach Lesley for the knowledge, and to Coach Koonz for your wisdom, teaching and grace,” Kpogba said in his post.
The Winston-Salem, North Carolina native closed his WVU career as a senior leader on a West Virginia team that won the Duke’s Mayo Bowl over his home state Tar Heels. He led the WVU defense with a quiet aggressive style.
