West Virginia was scheduled to play No. 4-seed Oklahoma State in the second round at 8:30 p.m. Thursday night but that game will now be played sometime on Friday. To get to the second round, WVU defeated Kansas via a walk-off walk in the tournament play-in game on Tuesday and upset top-seeded Texas Wednesday behind a dominant complete game by starter Jackson Wolf.
An updated schedule for the rest of the tournament will be released later tonight.
UPDATE 6:33 p.m.
WVU will play Oklahoma State at 5 p.m. EST on Friday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+. The loser of that game will immediately turn around and play Texas at 8:30 p.m. while the winner will move on to play on Saturday.
We'll be back at the ballpark at 9 a.m. CT., tomorrow.
