West Virginia’s 2022 recruiting class is beginning to heat up, with a couple of 3-star recruits committing in June, and the next major recruit could be on his way to Morgantown soon.

He has offers from Arizona State, Michigan State, Arkansas, Charlotte, Colorado, Colorado State, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Liberty, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Penn State, Rutgers, TCU, USF, Utah, Washington State and FSU.

The dual-threat quarterback made his official visit to WVU on June 11 and visited Michigan State on June 4. His final visit before committing will come Friday at Arizona State.

If Marchiol does decide to commit to WVU, the Mountaineers will have the foundation of a strong 2022 recruiting class fully underway, joining tight end Corbin Page, offensive lineman Sullivan Weidman, wide receiver Jarel Williams, offensive lineman Maurice Hamilton, safety Mumu Bin-Wahad, safety Tyrin Woodby and offensive lineman Charlie Katarincic.
