Top-40 prospect Jaden Mustaf received an offer from West Virginia on Sunday night. Mustaf is a guard from the class of 2024.

“Extremely blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia,” Mustaf wrote on Twitter.

Mustaf (6-foot-5, 205 pounds) is coming off a successful sophomore year at DeMatha Catholic High School in  Hyattsville, Md. Mustaf averaged 8.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals through 21 games. Mustaf has since moved to North Carolina and will attend Carmel Christian High School this upcoming year.

Mustaf has received offers from Bryant, Coastal Carolina, George Mason, Georgia, Harvard, Howard, Indiana, Maryland, NC State, New Mexico State, Rutgers, Texas A&M, USF, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Xavier. 247 Sports, Rivals and On3 Sports all have Mustaf as a 4-star athlete.

The Maryland native is a slash-dominant player who can take the ball to the hoop and finish by using his strength. Mustaf plays smart defense as well.

Over the past week, WVU’s coaching staff has done an incredible job at recruiting high school and JUCO athletes, extending offers to Davin Cosby Jr., Ace Flagg, Cooper Flagg, JaQualon Roberts and Jaquan Scott. WVU assistant Ron Everhart has been leading the charge with these recent offers and visits.
