2025 three-star forward CJ Ingram picked up an offer from WVU basketball on Friday afternoon. Ingram is a rising senior at Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Fl.

“#AGTG blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia University!!,” Ingram wrote on X.

Ingram, a 6-foot-6 recruit, has received offers from Arizona State, Dayton, Florida, Georgia, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, Murray State, Pitt, Rice, Samford, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and others. Ingram also has interest from football programs, including high-major programs like East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Florida, South Florida and others. Ingram’s father, Cornelius, played at Florida from 2005-07 under Urban Meyer.

While playing for Hawthorne High School, Ingram averaged 24.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 3.7 steals and 1.9 blocks in 21 games during his junior year. Over four years on the varsity team, including his eighth grade season, Ingram recorded 16.3 points per game in 71 games.

West Virginia’s staff has extended offers to many recruits in the 2025, 2026 and 2027 classes since getting hired in the spring. Here’s a look at who WVU has expressed interest with over the last week, highlighted by four-star guard Isaiah Denis, who former WVU G James Long coached at Davidson Day (NC).
