2025 Guard from Virginia Receives WVU Basketball Offer

2025 guard Chance Mallory received an offer from West Virginia over the weekend. Mallory is a 5-foot-8 prospect from Charlottesville, Va.

Mallory currently plays at St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Virginia, as he is wrapping up his sophomore year there. Mallory also plays AAU ball for Team Thrill, which is ran by current Toronto Raptors guard Will Barton. Mallory has received offers from Liberty, Maryland, NJIT, Radford, Seton Hall, UCF, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others. Mallory has unofficially visited Liberty last summer.
Mallory averaged 17.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.2 steals during his sophomore year at STAB.
In the last two weeks, West Virginia’s staff has extended offers to Sharron Young (2025 G), Trent Sisley (2024 F), Kayden Edwards (2025 G) and AJ Swinton (2024 F). Sisley and Swinton are regarded as 4-star prospects.
