Jensen (6-foot-9) unofficially visited West Virginia in August. Jensen has a connection with WVU assistant Jordan McCabe, who extended the offer. Jensen currently plays at Kaukauna High School, like McCabe did. Jensen has received offers from Marquette, Milwaukee and West Virginia. As a freshman, Jensen appeared in 27 games for Kaukauna. Jensen averaged 4.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 12.6 minutes of play. The Galloping Ghosts made it to the WIAA Sectional before falling to Marquette University HS.
“I was able to get a great look at the campus, the practice facility, and the coliseum. The facilities were top of the line, and had everything an athlete could want,” Jensen said following his visit. “The coaching staff was very welcoming, and have a lot of high-level basketball experience themselves.”
“Talking to [McCabe] and the other coaches showed me the family aspect that they have at the University,” he added.
