With another week now in the books, the Big 12 continues to appear wide open. With that said, what actually happened around the conference beyond West Virginia’s dominating performance in a 38-14 win over Oklahoma State.

All in all, West Virginia ran all over Oklahoma State en route to a 38-14 win. The victory moves Neal Brownโ€™s team to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12.

Houston upset TCU 30-19 on Friday.ย 

WVU’s next opponent Iowa State wins comfortably 43-21 over Baylor.ย

UCF falls to in-state foe Florida 24-13 in a non conference matchup.ย 

Arizona State claims their first ever Big 12 win 35-31 over Kansas.ย 

Texas Tech took down Arizona 28-22.ย 

Big 12 teams on a bye:

BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Kansas State, Utahย 

WVU will now return home for a showdown with Iowa State. The Mountaineers and Cyclones are set to kickoff at 8 pm ET on Oct. 12. WVU will debut their new Coal Rush uniform under the lights next week.

Both WVU and Iowa State are among five remaining undefeated teams in the Big 12 standings.

The Saturday night atmosphere will also serve as the backdrop to Iowa State quarterback Rocco Bechtโ€™s father Anthony being honored. Former Mountaineer Anthony Becht was unable to attend his induction into the WVU Sports Hall of Fame and will be honored when his son is in town.
