Broadcast Crew for WVU vs. Oklahoma Primetime Game Announced

Published

on

Fresh off an upset over No. 15 Virginia Tech, West Virginia will get an even tougher test in the form of No. 4 Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma this Saturday night.

We knew the game was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC, and now we know who will be calling the game, too.

West Virginia will get the Game of the Week treatment from the networks as ESPN’s top broadcast team of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe will call the game from Norman, Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma game comes as WVU’s first prime time game this season, having played at noon, 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. already this season. Without a win against Oklahoma, there likely won’t be many, if any, prime time games left for the Mountaineers this season.

West Virginia and Oklahoma didn’t play last season due to COVID-19, so this will be their first matchup since 2019 — a 52-14 Sooners stomping.
