After opening as a 3-point favorite against a ranked Virginia Tech squad last week and covering the spread in a six point win, West Virginia will have no such odds this week against No. 4 Oklahoma.

Oklahoma, unsurprisingly, enters a home matchup against WVU as a 17-point favorite this week and an over/under set at 61.5 points. Coming off the biggest win in WVU head coach Neal Brown’s era in Morgantown, covering the spread is a must for his team.

DraftKings SportsBook offers a slightly more favorable matchup for the Mountaineers with Oklahoma set as a 14.5-point favorite. The over/under is set at 58.5 points, with -105 odds for the over and -115 odds for the under. WVU holds +460 odds for a moneyline bet while Oklahoma has -650 odds for the same bet.

FanDuel SportsBook offers slightly worse odds for WVU, slotting the Sooners as a 15.5-point favorite. The over/under is still set at 58.5 points, with both the over and under set at -110 odds. A moneyline bet on the Mountaineers offers +490 odds while the same for Oklahoma is set at -750 odds.

WVU is 2-1 against the spread this season, covering against both Virginia Tech on Saturday and Long Island University last weekend. Oklahoma is 1-2 against the odds this season, failing to cover large spreads against Tulane and Nebraska this season.

WVU and Oklahoma did not play last season due to COVID-19 cancelations, and the last meeting ended in a 52-14 Oklahoma win back in 2019. The Mountaineers hung with the Sooners in a 59-56 shootout in 2018.
