WVU Basketball Recruiting
Crystal Ball Prediction Given to 2025 G Kelvin Odih
2025 four-star guard Kelvin Odih received a crystal ball prediction to West Virginia by 247 Sports on Monday. Odih is down to Rutgers, West Virginia and Louisville in his recruitment and will make his college decision on Wednesday.
Colby Giacubeno of InsideMDSports predicted Odih to WVU on Monday morning. Giacubeno has a 100% prediction rate in the 2025 class (25 picks). His confidence rate for his prediction is a 6.
Over the past couple of days, West Virginia has picked up momentum from insiders on Odih’s recruitment. The coaching staff extended an offer to Odih back in July and got him on campus for an official visit by the end of August. Out of his three finalists, Odih took visits to West Virginia and Rutgers.
Rutgers recently received a commitment from 2025 top-125 guard Lino Mark.
Odih originally had a top six list including Colorado, Creighton and Oklahoma State, who he all cut off his list.
Odih is a senior at SoCal Academy who visited WVU in late August.
“Everything was great. I really enjoyed my time over there. The coaching staff was very welcoming,” Odih said at the time to WV Sports Now.
During his visit, Odih took a liking to the coaching staff.
“Coach DeVries, I really like him. Very nice guy. He kept it real with me. He never promised me anything, or sugarcoated anything to me. That’s something I very much respect about him.”
‘Everything Was Great’: 4-Star Kelvin Odih Recaps West Virginia Visit
WVU assistant Tom Ostrom has been leading Odih’s recruitment and visited him in-person at SoCal Academy in September.
Odih will be committing at the Zuccolo Rec Center in Providence, RI, which will be open to the public with free food and parking.
WV Sports Now will provide updates on West Virginia basketball recruiting news, including Kelvin Odih.
