2025 four-star guard Kelvin Odih will announce his commitment on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., he announced over the weekend. On Sunday, Odih cut down his recruitment just to three schools: Louisville, Rutgers and West Virginia, he told 247 Sports.

Odih originally had a top six list including Colorado, Creighton and Oklahoma State, who he all cut off his list.

Odih will be committing at the Zuccolo Rec Center in Providence, RI, which will be open to the public with free food and parking.

Odih is a senior at SoCal Academy who visited WVU in late August.

“Everything was great. I really enjoyed my time over there. The coaching staff was very welcoming,” Odih said at the time to WV Sports Now.

During his visit, Odih took a liking to the coaching staff.

“Coach DeVries, I really like him. Very nice guy. He kept it real with me. He never promised me anything, or sugarcoated anything to me. That’s something I very much respect about him.”

WVU assistant Tom Ostrom has been leading Odih’s recruitment and visited him in-person at SoCal Academy in September.

Odih most recently completed a visit to Rutgers.

WV Sports Now will provide updates on West Virginia basketball recruiting news, including Kelvin Odih.
