Double-Double Product Essam Mostafa Contacted by WVU’s Staff

Coastal Carolina transfer big man Essam Mostafa told The Portal Report and WV Sports Now that he has heard from West Virginia.

Mostafa has heard from 20 programs so far including College of Charleston, Colorado, Eastern Carolina, George Washington, Grand Canyon, Illinois State, Loyola Marymount, LSU, Memphis, Mississippi State, New Mexico, Ohio, Rhode Island, Rutgers, Saint Louis, TCU, Utah, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Xavier.

Mostafa (6-foot-9) just completed his third season playing at Coastal Carolina. Mostafa has averaged double figures over the past three seasons, even averaging a double-double during his junior year. Mostafa recorded 12.4 points and 10.0 rebounds in 26 games. The Cairo, Egypt native has two years of eligibility remaining.
