North Carolina transfer guard Puff Johnson has heard from 15 programs, including West Virginia, he told Jon Rothstein. Johnson entered the transfer portal this week after spending three seasons at UNC.

Johnson has heard from Arizona State, Butler, Colorado State, Duquesne, Grand Canyon, Indiana, Kentucky, LSU, Oklahoma, Pitt, Seton Hall, TCU, Tulane, UC Santa Barbara and West Virginia.

Johnson (6-foot-8) averaged 4.1 points on 39 percent shooting from the field this past season for the Tar Heels. The Moon Township, Pa. native scored 11 points in the National Championship game in a loss to Kansas in 2022.

West Virginia recently lost Jamel King and Josiah Davis to the transfer portal and hosted Arizona transfer Kerr Kriisa for a visit this past weekend.
