A highly coveted offensive line recruit is considering a return to West Virginia after moving to Florida to finish his high school career. Former in-state prospect Da’Ron Parks revealed WVU as one of his top 12 schools earlier in the week.

Parks (6-foot-5 and 300 pounds), who now attends Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Fla., has the Mountaineers on a list that includes Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Kentucky, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State and Rutgers.

Parks, a West Virginia native, transferred from Hurricane High School after his freshman year. The previous WVU staff offered Parks initially in March of 2023.

Rated as a top 50 player in his class, Parks is ranked as a three-star recruit by most national recruiting services, but owns a four-star rating from Rivals.

Parks narrowed down his list out of about 40 total offers.
