Gabe Ryan Restarting Gridiron Career | WVU Football All 105
All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2025 WVU Football Roster.
A native of Keyser, W.Va., junior defensive lineman Gabe Ryan committed to Frostburg State (D-II) out of high school but doesn’t appear on the Bobcats’ 2023 or 2024 roster. He played on both the offensive and defensive lines at Keyser High School, and stands 6-foot-2 and 254 pounds.
His time spent away from the sport likely means Ryan will need a chance to readjust to the game, especially at the Power Four level, but he could pick up some snaps on special teams in 2025.
60 • Gabe Ryan, redshirt junior defensive line

Post-camp outlook: Ryan joined the Mountaineers following the conclusion of their fall camp, which will almost certainly limit his ability to play in 2025.
Projected role: If Ryan appears on the field this season, expect him to do so during blowouts or on special teams.
