At 6-7, Jermaine Haley should provide Best Virginia the same versatility he provided WVU for two seasons.
Haley was a Mountaineer for two seasons from 2018-2020 after transferring from New Mexico State. He started 54 games across those two years, averaging 7.9 points, 2.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 24.7 minutes.
Haley’s biggest strength in college was his ability to play any position from point guard to power forward and his willingness to guard and opposing player.
Since graduating, Haley played in the NBA G-League for three seasons with five teams. The Canadian native has also played professionally in the Canadian Elite Basketball League and, most recently, for the Sudbury Five in the Canadian Basketball Super League.
Haley is the third player to join Best Virginia for the 2025 TBT, joining Kedrian Johnson and Erik Stevenson.
The TBT returns to West Virginia this year as the 2025 West Virginia Regional will be played in the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center from July 18-23. Charleston previously hosted TBT regionals in 2021 and 2022.
