Look: Arizona Transfer Kerr Kriisa Posts During WVU Visit

Arizona transfer guard Kerr Kriisa posted on his Instagram story late on Saturday night that he arrived in Morgantown for his visit with WVU basketball. WVU hosts Kriisa this weekend, as a source told WV Sports Now.

Kriisa is the first player that West Virginia has hosted during this transfer portal period. The former Wildcat entered the portal earlier this week and WVU’s staff contacted Kriisa within minutes. West Virginia has prioritized Kriisa as well as Wyoming transfer Graham Ike.

Kriisa averaged 9.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists this past season. Kriisa led the Pac-12 in assists and also shot 37 percent from three. Kriisa has appeared in the last two NCAA Tournaments for Arizona, reaching the Sweet-16 last year. The Estonia native played at Arizona for three seasons, one under Sean Miller and two under Tommy Lloyd. Expect Kriisa to be interested in a reunion with Miller at Xavier.
