West Virginia Completes Call With Highly-Touted Transfer Graham Ike

Sources told WV Sports Now that West Virginia’s staff completed a call with Wyoming transfer forward Graham Ike. Ike entered the transfer portal on Tuesday and WVU swooped right in.

It is expected that Ike will be recruited by many Power-5 programs.

Ike, who was named to the All-MWC team, averaged 17.3 PTS and 8.5 REB in ‘21-‘22. 3 years of eligibility.

Ike (6-foot-9) missed this previous season due to injury but put up 19.5 points and 9.6 rebounds on 51 percent shooting during the 2021-22 season. Ike has been selected to the All-Mountain West Conference Second Team during his sophomore year and was named on the Naismith Trophy Preseason Watch List prior to this season.

Sources say that West Virginia will put a priority on recruiting Ike.
