Mountaineers in the NFL: Week 15 Review

There were 11 former West Virginia University football players in action on NFL fields this week. Let’s take a look at how the ex-Mountaineers did:

Carolina Panthers (Packers 24, Panthers 16)
Rasul Douglas – CB – 4th season – Recorded seven tackles with six being solo stops. Saw action on 44 defensive plays and nine special teams snaps.

Will Grier – QB – 2nd season – Not active

Kenny Robinson – S – 1st season – Saw action on 15 special teams snaps.

Cincinnati Bengals (Bengals 27, Steelers 17)
Quinton Spain – OG – 6th season – Spain started at right guard in a Monday Night Football game against the rival Steelers. Saw action on all 56 offensive plays and six special teams snaps.

Cleveland Browns (Browns 20, Giants 6)
Karl Joseph – S – 5th season – Started at strong safety. Recorded 10 tackles with eight being solo stops. One of his tackles was for a loss and he had two pass deflections. Joseph saw action on all 54 defensive plays and eight special teams snaps.

Green Bay Packers (Packers 24, Panthers 16)
Tavon Austin – WR – 8th season – Austin saw action on four offensive plays and five special teams snaps.

Indianapolis Colts (Colts 27, Texans 20)
Mark Glowinski – OG – 6th season – Started at right guard. Saw action on all 54 offensive plays, while also recording playing time on five special teams snaps.

Las Vegas Raiders (Chargers 30, Raiders 27)
Nick Kwiatkoski – LB – 5th season – Started at middle linebacker and recorded 10 tackles with five being solo stops. Saw action on all 66 defensive plays and six special teams snaps.

Daryl Worley – CB – 5th season – Started at strongside linebacker. Recorded seven tackles with four being solo stops. Saw action on 37 defensive plays.

Los Angeles Chargers (Chargers 30, Raiders 27)
Kyzir White – LB – 3rd season – White started at linebacker. Recorded two solo tackles and he saw action on 42 defensive plays.

Miami Dolphins (Dolphins 22, Patriots 12)
Adam Pankey – OT – 4th season – Active but did not play.

New England Patriots (Dolphins 22, Patriots 12)
Yodny Cajuste – OT – 2nd season – Placed on injured reserve.

New York Jets (Jets 23, Rams 20)
Trevon Wesco – TE – 2nd season – Saw action on 17 offensive plays and four special teams snaps.

San Francisco 49ers (Cowboys 41, 49ers 33)
Colton McKivitz – OT – 1st season – Placed on COVID-19 reserve list.

Seattle Seahawks (Seahawks 20, Football Team 15)
Bruce Irvin  –  LB – 9th season – Tore his ACL in week 2 against the Patriots and was placed on the injured reserve list by the Seahawks.

Geno Smith – QB – 8th season – Active but did not play.

Pittsburgh Steelers (Bengals 27, Steelers 17)
Wendell Smallwood – RB – 5th season – Placed on Steelers practice squad.

Tennessee Titans (Titans 46, Lions 25)
David Long Jr. – LB – 2nd season – Started at inside linebacker. Recorded 12 tackles with six being a solo stop. He saw action on 64 defensive plays and five special teams snaps.
