Mountaineers Seen as Underdogs on Senior Day

In their last home game of the season, the West Virginia Mountaineers are being viewed as underdogs to the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

OSU (7-3, 4-3 Big 12) is currently an eight-point favorite over WVU (3-6, 2-5).

The Cowboys are coming off of three straight wins over Iowa State, TCU and Kansas while the Mountaineers broke a five-game losing streak Saturday by defeating Kansas State.

West Virginia fell to Oklahoma State 45-41 in Stillwater last season. Then-freshman Chuba Hubbard ran for 134 yards in the victory. The Cowboys also won the last time they were in Morgantown in 2017, defeating the Mountaineers 50-39.

Hubbard leads all of college football this season with 1,7 26 rushing yards and is second in the nation with 20 rushing touchdowns.

Saturday will be Senior Day at Milan Puskar Stadium as a whole class of Mountaineers will play their final game at in front of the home crowd.

Kick-off will be at noon and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
