Notable 2026 WVU Football Recruit Excited for Next Visit After Game Experience
The WVU football staff did more than just win and secure a bowl appearance on Saturday, they also impressed a notable recruit who was in town for the game experience.
Chase Enlow, a three-star running back, posted about his trip on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday.
“Had a great time at WVU football this weekend. Huge thanks to Chad Scott for having me. Can’t wait to get back on campus!!,” said Enlow.

Listed at 5-foot-9, 195 pounds, Enlow is regarded as the top running back in the 2026 class out of New Jersey and owns a three-star rating from both 247 Sports and On3 Sports. He’s ranked as one of the top ten overall players in New Jersey and top 40 in the country by both outlets.
Enlow has offers from Boston College, Charlotte, Duke, Illinois, Indiana, Rutgers, Temple, Virginia, Virginia Tech and WVU. Rutgers is considered to be the school most connected to Enlow at this point. He’s also had communication with Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State and Syracuse.
In addition to a top 2026 prospects like Enlow, West Virginia also put energy into locking up their 2025 commits.
